Trailer parking looks so empty, that you could think the competition is over and everybody is going home. Many trailers went to pick their pilots from the fields. Just few finished. The flight was tough. Pilots from world class told that weather was fine, just coming back from Varėna spreadouts were on the route. Others from the beginning also had good meteo situation, cloud base was about 1600 m. But the front which at first was moving from west very slowly started approaching much faster than expected and caught up pilots near Ukmergė. Over Kaunas it was raining. And it was already late – thermal activity ended.

 

We wish safe trip back to Pociūnai for those who landed out and a calm evening for all the rest.
