Our old fellow warm front is still here and doesn’t want to go anywhere. But in the north-eastern part weather is good and pilots are flying there again. It just might be hard to depart from Pociūnai. Speed tasks again:

 

World class – polygon with 4 points of 256,9 km;

Club class – polygon with 4 points of 302,4 km;

Standard class – polygon with 4 points of 353,6 km;

20 m class – polygon with 4 points of 383,3 km.

Standard class – Tomas Suchanek from Czech Republic;

At first the weather wasn’t very favorable, thermals very bubbly but over woods it got better. The best situation was in the north eastern part of Lithuania. The maximum cloud base was 1900 m, some thermals were even up to 5 m/s. Hope, that pilots enjoyed the landscape of eastern part Lithuania which is full of lakes. That angry warm front which threaten us stopped and the cold air pushes it back. And even if it passes, after it good weather comes again. So we’re waiting for another flying day tomorrow.
