Hello!

The weather is good today but there won‘t be any tasks, because the 15th European Gliding Championships is officially closed. Pilots had 13 days of flying, so the fight was really serious. Farewell party is completed, closing ceremony is over, all the prizes given to the winners:

The day is over, tasks completed! After finish some pilots made flights with their crew members and thermals still were quite good - so the weather was really fine. It's a pitty that some people are already leaving, but many are going to the party. Wish everybody to have a crazy night ;) and see you tomorrow at the closing ceremony!

Good morning!
 
Yes, we will have the 13th competition day! And as far as everyone remembers it’s the record in EGC! And it is really a wonder knowing Lithuanian weather :). Pilots got assigned area tasks, routes directed to the western, south-western part of Lithuania, because eastern part has bad weather today. There’s a possibility of showers. The tasks:
 
World class – assigned area task with 4 areas 164,1 km/ 379,5 km;
Club class – assigned area task with 4 areas 220,3 km/438,2 km;
Standard class – assigned area task with 4 areas 267,2 km/ 553,5 km;
Double-seater class – assigned area task with 5 areas 265,7 km/ 387,6 km;
 
Grid closes at 11:15, first launch – 11:30.
 
And the winners of day 12:
 
World class – Jindrich Svorz from Czech Republic;
Club class – Sergej Klyuev from Russian Federation;
Standard class has two winners – Marc Seretti from France and Jan-Ola Nordh from Sweden;
Double-seater class – Janusz Centka and Mario Szumski from Poland.
